Meet The Beekeeper
Mike is a passionate beekeeper with an understanding of beekeeping within the unique environment the ACT region offers.
He has been beekeeping locally for a number of years, and has undertaken formal training with the NSW Department of Primary Industries, including the Certificate III in Beekeeping, via TOCAL College. Mike also attends regular industry training events.
With an understanding of both the challenges and requirements for both small commercial enterprises and the hobbyist alike, Mike is able to deliver sound advice, and apiculture services within Canberra and region.
Our Apiaries
Our main non-migratory Apiary, and the heart of our operations is located just outside of Queanbeyan, however our bees are well within the foraging radius of the ACT.
Here they forage on many native flora including the highly regarded Yellow Box Eucalyptus, Red Stingy Bark and many other endemic native species found in and around the Bush Capital.
