Swarm collections
(Sorry, no cut outs)

DON’T PANIC
They are not likely to pose any threat to you or your pets unless provoked!
Discovering that a bee swam has landed in your yard on a bush, fence, BBQ or perhaps your front door, can be alarming at first. It is important to realise the bees are homeless and therefore not protecting their home.
We can usually assist with swarm capture and removals. Text us on 0490 008 763 with the below details and we will promptly text or call you back.
More about swarms
Swarms occur mainly during Spring and early Summer, but can also happen
during other times including late Summer and early Autumn.
A Swarm is a naturally occurring event, by which honey bees reproduce. Half or part of an over crowded colony will leave the hive in search of a new home.

Locations which May qualify for free removal
Locations which may qualify for free swarm collections include Queanbeyan, Jerrabomberra, Googong, Carwoola and Bungendore.
If you are outside of these locations, still feel free to message us as we could be in your area, otherwise we are able to put you in touch with another swarm collector.
A swarm removal only involves the catching of a swarm in a bush, ute tray, pergola post etc. It does not include honeybees which have established within a dwelling wall. We can give you the details of who is best to do this.
