HIve Relocation and re-homing

There are many reasons you may require assistance to relocate or re-home a hive, and Bush Capital Beekeeping are more than happy to assist you with this process.

These are not limited to moving house, or moving them out to a rural property. Hives are ideally moved in the early hours of the morning or at evening.

This allows for almost all bees including the foragers to return home to their hive.

We are also able to assist with re-homing of hives. Perhaps you are no longer able to take care of of your bees, or downsizing your apiary?

Should you need to simply surrender a hive, we can also determine its viability via a hive and health check and provide possible options such as putting you in touch with members of the local Beekeeping associations.

Remember, we can also assist in the relocation.

Important

Hives for which are to be relocated within a 5km radius of original setting may result in many bees returning to their original location.
This may mean we need to move them to another location for 30 days before being able to relocate to the new desired site.
Additional fees will apply, and will be discussed on a case by case basis.

MONETARY NEGOTIATION

You will be free to negotiate any remuneration or sale of additional equipment to the potential new owner.
We do not take a percentage of this as a fee!
